Who films the weddings?
Most of our weddings are shot by myself (Calvin). I shoots weddings alone and try to blend in with the crowd. Being a minimalist videographer, I work with and around the photographer, like a team. No worries about a huge film crew on the day of your wedding, just feel comfortable and be yourself.
Why cinematography for weddings?
We’re all about modern story telling, through modern cinema. We pride ourselves with our raw cinematic narrative that captures the most intimate, delicate and subtle memories from the day. We love organic reactions and romantic moments so we try our best to be non-invasive but can always provide subtle directions for those who are on the camera shy side! We endeavor to create a timeless film that will lasts you decades to come.
Could you work with another photography vendor?
Absolutely! Without a doubt. We’re friends with most Auckland photographers. Videographers and photographers have an amazing unspoken chemistry, we’re positive that no matter which photographer you choose, we will end up working together as a team flawlessly.
How do you choose the music?
Sounds sets the tone, the music will set the mood and feel for your entire wedding film. We ask all our couples to trust us and take a leap of faith, we’re dedicated to find something that complements your unique wedding while also conveying a romantic, timeless and classic musical narrative. This ensures your film will pass the test of time and still feel like yesterday when you show your children or grandchildren. If you’re set on a particular song or artist, feel free to talk to us about it! We’ll try our best to make sure you’re happy with the final choice!
Can we make changes to our film?
All of our films are filmed and produced in house, meaning we’ll be able to accommodate the film to your liking. We take feedback and change requests seriously. We’re committed to deliver a film that you are satisfied with 100%.
How do we lock in our wedding date?
Once you and your partner decides on a particular package we’ll send through an invoice and contract. We ask for a 50% deposit to securely lock in your date with the remainder due 6 weeks before the wedding!
Where are you based and do you travel?
We’re based in Auckland, New Zealand but we travel across New Zealand & Australia to film for weddings! We always try our best to make our packages as affordable as we can, and cut costs where possible, so speak to us and we’ll work something out!
What if we need to reschedule the wedding?
We have a really open policy regarding rescheduling & delays for weddings at anytime for any reason. Our goal is to make the process seamless and as easy as possible for couples. Especially considering the unprecedented time we’re currently in, compassion is something we hold ourselves highly to.
